Hearing Voices, Poetry, Schizophrenia

Haiku

The schizophrenia
you would label my soul with
is life altering.

I hear voices sing
jazz bands playing, symphonies
you say I am sick.

Would you silence them
so I would no longer have
beautiful music

That tempers the storm
which raises its ugly head
in my calm moments?
